ZTO Airlines Launches First Airbus A330-200P2F Freighter, Inaugurating Its First China–Europe Intercontinental Cargo Route

On April 8, ZTO Airlines held the launch ceremony for its first Airbus A330-200P2F freighter "ZTO Express" and officially announced the inauguration of its first-ever airfreight intercontinental route between China and Europe, marking the further significant step in ZTO ecosystem building.
ZTO Express Group Executive President Zhu Jingxi stated that the launch of the first dedicated freighter marks a major enhancement to ZTO’s cross-border integrated logistics capabilities, providing the company with stronger “air connectivity” to further improve its comprehensive logistics service capacity. He noted that in 2025, ZTO Express recorded annual parcel volume exceeding 38.52 billion shipments, maintaining its leading position in China’s express delivery market for ten consecutive years.
Over more than two decades of development, ZTO has built a diversified and integrated ecosystem centered on express delivery, with coordinated growth across multiple business segments including ZTO International, ZTO Freight, ZTO Cloud Warehousing, and ZTO Cold Chain. This “one core, multiple wings” ecosystem provides a strong foundation for ZTO’s transformation toward a high-quality, end-to-end global cross-border logistics network.
Looking ahead, ZTO Airlines will serve as a key driver of ZTO’s global expansion, working closely with various ecosystem businesses to accelerate international growth and jointly develop a modern cross-border logistics system featuring integrated air-ground coordination, independent operational capabilities, and global connectivity.
Sun Zhenhua, President of ZTO Airlines, expressed sincere appreciation to all partners participating in the inaugural flight. He emphasized that ZTO Airlines will continue to strengthen its international air cargo capabilities, accelerate the development of an aviation network covering major global regions and key logistics hubs, and leverage ZTO’s broader ecosystem to build comprehensive cross-border logistics solutions spanning “airport-to-airport, warehouse-to-warehouse, and door-to-door” services.
Representatives from key partners, including Airbus China, Hungarian Airlines, Feiyuan Times, and AMECO, attended the ceremony.
